Two kilometer north of Castellane you find the Lac du Castillon and two kilometers to the east Lac de Chaudanne. In Lac du Castillon you can swim in the azure mountain water. There are also opportunities to hire paddleboats, motorboats and sailingboats. If you prefer to cool off in a swimming pool you can visit the heated swimming pool of Castellane.

 

 

The smaller Lac de Chaudanne is less known by the general public but it’s certainly worth it for a romantic picnic or to onjoy the serene silence. Fishermen can work overtime here, the size of the carps and pikes in this lake barely fit on a photo. You can also go exciting fly fishing a few hundred meters from the house. (movie fishing) 

On the north side of Lac du Castillon is the village Saint-Andre-les-Alpes. Here you find paragliding club Aérogliss. The can offer a view you will never forget. (movie paragliding)
